What we collect when you read this site
Almost nothing. The pages show public records: city budgets, tax rates, council votes and similar documents. Reading them does not require an account, and we do not ask who you are.
We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which we run on our own server. It uses no cookies and keeps no personal identifiers. It records which pages are read, the referring site, and the country and device type, only in aggregate. We use it to see which pages are useful.
If you write to us or subscribe
If you email us, or sign up for a newsletter from the Council, we keep your email address and what you send us. We use it only to reply or to send what you asked for. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us at any time to delete what we hold about you.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not run advertising or ad trackers on this site.
Google account access
The Council runs internal automation, the application named CLR Forge Drive. It connects to the Council's own Google Drive account to store the Council's working files and backups. It reads and writes only that account's files. It collects no data from any other Google user, and nothing it touches is shared with or sold to anyone.
