Every race
Grouped from federal down to local. Open a race to see its candidates in official ballot order. The order is set by law; it is not a ranking.
How the money is counted: the methodology. The same rules apply to every candidate.
Loading the races…
Pearland lies in three counties, so your ballot depends on where you live. This is every race any Pearland voter sees on November 3, read from each county's ballot for the city's voting precincts. Each race says what share of residents votes in it.
- Counties: Brazoria (about 89% of residents), Harris (about 6%) and Fort Bend (about 5%).
- U.S. House: District 36 (about 68% of residents), District 14 (about 27%) and District 18 (about 5%).
- Texas Senate: District 11 (about 95%) and District 13 (about 5%). Texas House: District 29 (about 70%), 25 (about 19%), 129 (about 6%) and 27 (about 5%).
- State Board of Education: District 7 (Brazoria and Fort Bend parts) and District 4 (Harris part).
- Each county's own races (county judge, clerks, courts, commissioners, justices of the peace) are on the ballots of that county's part of the city only.
- The city and its school districts held their elections in May, except as noted here. The Fort Bend part of the city is in Fort Bend ISD, which has trustee races on this ballot.
- Pearland is in the 1st and 14th Courts of Appeals. The 15th Court of Appeals covers the whole state.
